Learning Bible Experience

REFLECTION

There are many different religions in the world, and every religion chooses for them faith to live. Also, the catholic people always take God’s word in the gospel to value faith for their lives.

Last weekend, I went to Cu Chi to study with my brothers. We have a seminar with Father Quoc. These days he shared with us about generally The Bible, such as Origin of the Bible, Purpose of the Bible, The Unity of the Bible, The Content of the Bible, etc.

Saint of Geronimo said that: “ if we don’t know the bible, we will not know about God” that right! Bible is the word of the Lord; it is God’s process historically salvation for humans. The Bible is the most popular book in the world that can be found almost anywhere on the earth. It has been translated into many different languages.

The Catholic Bible has 73 books, include 46 books of the Old Testament. The Old Testament is the original Hebrew Bible, the sacred scriptures of the Jewish faith, written at different times between 1200 and 165 BC. and 27 books of the New Testament. Christians wrote the New Testament books in the first century AD. The Bible is not just one book, but an entire library, with stories, songs, poetry, letters, and history, as well as literature that might more obviously qualify as “religious.”

When I read the Bible, I realized that the central feature of God’s plan is Jesus Christ. Jesus left heaven to come to earth to live as one of us. He experienced the temptations, disappointments, and heartaches that we experience. Then He died for us as a perfect sacrifice for sin. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life (John 3:16)

There were many things I have studied from Father Quoc these days. I hope that I will keep my habit of reading the Gospel every day. It helps me to develop a spiritual life. This is a stable purchase for Christian, especially for my religious life.

Thanks be to God.
